STUDENT ARRIVAL
Each teacher has a designated entrance where he or she will enter.
Student Drop-off
Please do not bring your student to school before 7:30 am. All students will enter the building through the main entrance. Upon arrival, students will wait in line (on the socially distanced Cheetah Paws) until they are directed to the cafeteria. Hand sanitizer and masks will be available at the main entrance.
Bus Riders
Students will remain on the bus until a staff member is present to pick them up.
Late Arrivals
Please ring the doorbell at the front entrance of the building. A staff member will check to ensure a mask is worn before proceeding to the classroom.
Breakfast and Lunch
Breakfast is served from 7:30 am to 8:00 am each morning in the cafeteria. Lunch times are as follows:

Kinder: 10:50 – 11:20 (11:20 - 11:35 Recess)
1st Grade: 11:00 – 11:30 (11:30 - 11:45 Recess)
2nd Grade: 11:55 – 12:25 (12:25 - 12:40 Recess)
3rd Grade: 11:20 – 11:50 (11:50 - 12:05 Recess)
4th Grade: 11:30 – 12:00 (12:00 - 12:15 Recess)
5th Grade: 12:05 – 12:35 (12:35 - 12:50 Recess)
Lunch Times (Wednesday)
Kinder: 10:30 - 11:00
1st Grade: 10:40 - 11:10
3rd Grade: 11:05 - 11:35
4th Grade: 11:15 - 11:45
5th Grade: 11:40 - 12:10
2nd Grade: 11:50 - 12:20
DISMISSAL PROCEDURES
Students will use designated exits in an effort to decrease student traffic.
Student Pick-up
Release times are staggered to help with crowding and social distancing.
- Kindergarten will release at 2:50; parents will pick up in the k/1/3 parking lot, teacher(s) will escort students across the street.
- 1st grade will release at 2:55, parents will pick up in the k/1/3 parking lot, teacher(s) will escort students across the street.
- 2nd grade will release at 2:50; parents will pick up in the 2/4/5 grade parking lot.
- 3rd grade will release at 3:00, parents will pick up in the k/1/3 parking lot, teacher(s) will escort students across the street.
- 4th grade will release at 2:55; parents will pick up in the 2/4/5 grade parking lot.
- 5th grade will release at 3:00, parents will pick up in the 2/4/5 grade parking lot.
If you are late, you will need to pick up your student at the front office through the main entrance.
Bus Riders
Students will be walked to their bus. In the event of inclement weather, students will wait in the classroom until the bus arrives.
Early Sign-Out
If you need to sign your student out early, call the front office (575-812-5750) before arriving at the building. Once you arrive, ring the doorbell, and a staff member will check your ID before releasing the student. If the ID holder is NOT on the contact list, the student will NOT be released. Please ensure that contact and emergency information has been updated on PowerSchool.
