We’re excited to announce that Alamogordo Public Schools is launching Rooms, a new way for families to connect directly with their child’s teachers, coaches, and school staff, all within the APS app. Starting in the 26/27 school year, Rooms will become the go-to place for classroom updates, one-on-one conversations, and group messages. This allows us to give you one secure place to stay informed and connected to Alamogordo Public Schools.

▪️Message staff in one click. Easily connect with teachers, coaches, counselors, and more, and see all of your messages in one inbox.

Families will automatically begin receiving messages once the platform launches. You’ll be able to view and respond to messages right from your mobile phone - through the APS app or mobile web.

🥛 Alamogordo Public Schools is excited to continue offering FREE meals to all kids ages 1–18 through the USDA Summer Meals Program! It's a pleasure to support our local children with nutritious summer meals. 🍌🥪

☀️ Friendly reminder: Kids must be present to receive a meal. This helps us follow program guidelines and ensure we can continue providing this important service! 🍴

Can you believe the last days of school are next week?! 🚌🎒

📓🖍The last day of school for Kindergarten, 6th & 9th-grade students is Thursday, May 21, and for all other grades, Friday, May 22. 📝 Please be aware that students will be released early on the last days of school. View the early release schedule below, and please plan accordingly.

🚌 Note: On Thursday, May 21, school buses will run twice. Buses will first pick up Kindergarten, 6th-grade, and 9th-grade students for early release. They will then return later for the normal dismissal of all other students.

On Friday, May 22, buses will run according to the early release schedule.
